Grade Obama's First 100 Days

Obama's First 100 days are strife with political mistakes, outright lies, unfulfilled promises, unfilled cabinet seats, and a myriad of other problems. He has spent more money in the first 100 days of his administration that all of his predecessors combined. He has had his administration do more in the intrusion of the daily lives of citizens than any previous president. He has done more to limit freedoms than any other administration. He has Divided the country along Party Lines. He has embarrassed the citizens of the country by his comments on his European travel.

I would like to see a discussion on this post about his social agenda of which many Americans are seemingly unaware.

"From the conscience clause to stem cell research, President Obama has shifted social policy to the left in his first 100 days in the White House. But the reversal of several of his predecessor's regulations has garnered hardly a whimper -- leaving many to wonder how much social issues matter to Americans amid two wars and an economic crisis." From FoxNews Politics http://tinyurl.com/corrs for full article.

I feel that his effort to get his agenda thru Congress is due to coming elections next year that would probably produce and uncooperative majority in at least the House of Representatives.

What do you think?

H.R. 97 violates Bill of Rights

Your Right to Free Speech is Under ATTACK! The following Bill in the House seeks to regulate Federal Elections and stifle and penalize free speech prior to federal elections.

Write or call your congressman and senators that this bill is unconstitutional. The Obama Administration is seeking to stifle criticism 60 days prior to Elections.

YOUR RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH IS UNDER ATTACK!

Revolutions have started for less than this.

Below is an excerpt from H.R. 97 and your Bill of Rights!

First Amendment to the Constitution

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Excerpt from H.R. 97
To amend title 18, United States Code, to prohibit certain deceptive practices in Federal elections, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Deceptive Practices and Voter Intimidation Prevention Act of 2009''.SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON DECEPTIVE PRACTICES IN FEDERAL ELECTIONS.

(a) In General.--Chapter 29 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:``Sec. 618. Deceptive practices in Federal elections ``(a) Whoever, within 60 days before a Federal election, knowingly communicates election-related information about that election, knowing that information to be false, with the intent to prevent another person from exercising the right to vote in that election, or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.
(1) the term `Federal election' means any general, primary, run-off, or special election for the office of President, Vice President, presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, or Delegate or Commissioner from a territory or possession.

Don't be fooled by the title...It is not about intimidation it is about stifling free speech.

Discuss, comment, and take action!!
