PRICE OF OIL DUE TO OUR STUPIDITY
READ THIS;
________________________________
Here's an astonishing read. …….
Important and verifiable information :…….
About 6 months ago, the writer was watching a news program on oil and one of the Forbes Bros. was the guest. The host said to Forbes, "I am going to ask you a direct question and I would like a direct answer; how much oil does the U.S. have in the ground?"
Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, "more than all the Middle East put together."
Please read below.
The U. S. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only
scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a
revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota, western South Dakota, and extreme eastern Montana ..... check THIS out:
The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil.
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion
barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel,
we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5...3 trillion.
"When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their
jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.." says Terry Johnson, the Montana
Legislature's financial analyst.
"This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in
the past 56 years," reportsThe Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a formation
known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly referred to as the
'Bakken.' It stretches from Northern Montana , through North Dakota and
into Canada . For years, U. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves..... and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!
That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years
straight. And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one
should - because it's from 2006!
U.. S. Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World
Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006
Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the
largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION
barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this mother load of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling?
They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth.. Here are the official estimates:
- 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
- 18-times as much oil as Iraq
- 21-times as much oil as Kuwait
- 22-times as much oil as Iran
- 500-times as much oil as Yemen
- and it's all right here in the Western United States.
HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the
environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people dictate our lives and our economy.....WHY?
James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels untapped.
That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the
world today.
Reports The Denver Post.
Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even with this find? Think again!
It's all about the competitive marketplace, - it has to. Think OPEC just
might be funding the environmentalists?
Got your attention yet? Now, while you're thinking about it, do this:
Pass this BLOG along. If you don't take a little time to do this, then you should stifle yourself the next time you complain about gas prices -
by doing NOTHING, you forfeit your right to complain.
Now I just wonder what would happen in this country if every one of you sent this BLOG to every one in your address book.
By the way...this is all true. Check it out at the link below!!!

Top 10 ways to fix our Government
Congressional Reform Act of 2011
1. Term Limits.
12 years only, one of the possible options below..
A. Two Six-year Senate terms
B. Six Two-year House terms
C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms
2. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office. (or when not in session)
3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.
4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. The median income of the United States is around 44,000 a year, our Senators and Congressman make over 175,000 a year. Jefferson warned us about creating a professional political class!
6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
7. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people, and cannot exempt themselves from any law they pass that affects any citizen of the US.
8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12.
The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.
9. The Second Amendment is your right to protect yourself and congress shall make no law limiting the right to own, carry, conceal or license firearms. That is a function that belongs to and should be left to the states.
10. Voting/Election Reform….Women and Men who have reached the age of majority, 21, AND Own Property should have a full vote, Anyone not owning property and have no vested interest in their government should have a vote count 1/2 that of Property owners. Owning property and having a vested interest in government was a founding principle of our Republic. Candidates must be limited in the amount of money spent on elections. It is foolish to think someone can spend a billion dollars to get elected to a job that pays roughly 250,000 dollars a year.
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX Government!!!!!

Offer to reduce fraud SPURNED by obama!
IBM OFFER REFUSED...
This should be sent to every American to show them what this President really thinks and that he is anti-capitalist, anti-private-sector and cannot be trusted in telling the truth.
------------------------------------
This message has links at the bottom to verify it's content.
IBM offered to help reduce Medicare fraud for free...
What if I told you that the Chairman and CEO of IBM, Samuel J. Palmisano, approached President Obama and members of his administration, before the healthcare bill debates, with a plan that would reduce healthcare expenditures by $900 billion? Given the Obama Administration's adamancy that the United States of America simply had to make healthcare (read: health insurance) affordable for even the most dedicated welfare recipient, one would think he would have leaned forward in his chair, cupped his ear and said, "Tell me more!"
And what if I told you that the cost to the federal government for this program was nothing, zip, nada, zilch? And, what if I told you that, in the end and after two meetings, President Obama and his team, instead of embracing a program that was proven to save money -- projected to save almost one trillion dollars - a private sector program costing the taxpayers nothing, zip, nada, zilch - said, "Thanks but no thanks" and then embarked on passing one of the most despised pieces of legislation in US history?
Well, it's all true.
Samuel J. Palmisano, the Chairman of the Board and CEO for IBM, said in a recent Wall Street Journal interview that he offered to provide the Obama Administration with a program that would curb healthcare claims fraud and abuse by almost one trillion dollars but the Obama White House turned the offer down.
Mr. Palmisano is quoted as saying during a taping of The Wall Street Journal's Viewpoints program on September 14, 2010:
"We could have improved the quality and reduced the cost of the healthcare system by $900 billion...I said we would do it for free to prove that it works. They turned us down."
A second meeting between Mr. Palmisano and the Obama Administration took place two weeks later, with no change in the Obama Administration's stance. A call placed to IBM on October 8, 2010, by FOX News confirmed, via a spokesperson, that Mr. Palmisano stands by his statement.
Speaking with FOX News' Stuart Varney, Mort Zuckerman, Editor-in-Chief of US News & World Report, said, "It's a little bit puzzling because I think there is a huge amount of both fraud and inefficiency that American business is a lot more comfortable with and more effective in trying to reduce. And this is certainly true because the IBM people have studied this very carefully. When Palmisano went to the White House and made that proposal, it was based upon a lot of work and it was not accepted. It's really puzzling...These are very, very responsible people and don't have a political ax to grind.
In Mr. Obama's shunning of a private sector program that would have saved our country almost $1 trillion in healthcare expenditures, presented to him as he declared a "crisis in healthcare," he proves two things beyond any doubt: that he is anti-Capitalist and anti-private sector in nature and that he can no longer be trusted to tell the truth in both his political declarations or espoused goals.

email from a friend
I AM A GLENN BECK FAN BUT I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THE EMAIL INFORMATION BELOW FROM A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE.
http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/glenn-beck/transcript/beck-do-we-need-fed
I’m not a big fan of Glenn Beck and his style of presenting information on TV. But, no matter how you feel about him, you can’t watch his show that aired this past Friday (3.24.2011), or read the transcript of this broadcast, and not be extremely concerned about the unchecked power wielded by the Federal Reserve.
I’ve been complaining to everyone who might listen for months now about how the Federal Reserve has been creating restrictive rules, without the authority to do so, that fly directly in the face of proven facts, common sense and financial well-being for American consumers, not to mention that these same rules will eventually put small businesses out of business, in favor of a monopoly by the four largest banks in the U.S. Higher costs for all mortgage loans will result, as well as job losses in the hundreds of thousands caused by a rippling effect in all associated industries: realtors, title companies, insurance agents, appraisers, inspectors, builders, etc., will all be affected.
This is not “crazy” talk. This is actually happening and the Fed’s rule will take effect on April 1st, 2011, unless a temporary restraining order (TRO) or injunction against the Federal Reserve is obtained by one of two industry associations that represents thousands of other mortgage loan originators just like me. Both associations have recently filed lawsuits to stop the Fed’s insane, unfair attempts to rid big banks’ competition. One of these plaintiffs has been granted a TRO hearing for 9:30, tomorrow morning. I’m praying for U.S. District Court Judge Beryl A. Howell and that she will easily see the facts presented to allow for the plaintiff’s victory in federal court tomorrow & hope you will too.

SB 34….A Sneaky Attempt to go around 2nd Amendment
Senator,
I understand that SB 34 is in Judiciary Committee.
Summary
This Bill states the following;
Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2011 -
Amends the federal criminal code to authorize the Attorney General to deny the transfer of a firearm or the issuance of a firearms or explosives license or permit (or revoke such license or permit) if the Attorney General:
(1) determines that the transferee is known (or appropriately suspected) to be engaged in terrorism or has provided material support or resources for terrorism; and
(2) has a reasonable belief that the transferee may use a firearm in connection with terrorism. Allows any individual whose firearms or explosives license application has been denied to bring legal action to challenge the denial.
Extends the prohibition against the sale or distribution of firearms or explosives to include individuals whom the Attorney General has determined to be engaged in terrorist activities. Imposes criminal penalties on individuals engaged in terrorist activities who smuggle or knowingly bring firearms into the UnitedStates.Authorizes the Attorney General to withhold information in firearms and explosives license denial revocation lawsuits and from employers if the Attorney General determines that the disclosure of such information would likely compromise national security.
I urge you to vote against this bill should it get out of committee. I see a further encroachment by the federal government thru regulation to possibly deny my right to own a firearm as guarranteed me by the 2nd Amendment of the Bill of Rights.
Regulation is control and should not be allowed as it concerns ANY denial of rights under the 2nd Amendment.
I trust you will answer me in a positive manner and I urge you to lobby other Senators to offer resistance to the Obama administrations attempt to regulate ANY Firearms.
Sincerely,
Clifford J. Treadaway

Post from a contributor
I read something today that really got me wondering about how little some people think before they speak/write/whatever. Granted, there are lots of people who speak after thinking, but who should still not speak without supervision. Still, everyone is entitled to their own opinions (at least I hope that's still allowed by our government), but I believe everyone would benefit far better by praying for stability & peace in Egypt right now, than for simply encouraging an uprising against its admittedly tyrannical government. Mubarek will certainly be forced to leave. There's no question about that. The potential, most concerning problem is what he and the current government will be replaced with and who will be controlling it.
A democracy is what many people reportedly desire as a result of these demonstrations, but the overwhelming majority of the population in Egypt is at least 80-90 percent Muslim, many of whom I believe support the implementation of Sharia law into national law. I don't know about you, but there isn't a single nation I know of with a true democracy and respect for human rights, where Sharia law is incorporated into the laws of that nation. The religion of the majority of Egyptians wouldn't necessarily be an issue, except for the largest faction in support of overthrowing Mubarek & his government. But before getting into the Muslim Brotherhood, we need to recall some important history.
Mubarek's predecessor, Anwar Sadat, was removed from office through assassination by Islamic terrorists in 1981. His assassination was carried out by extremists who opposed Sadat's successful attempts to develop peace with Israel (a Jewish nation), after their numerous wars & battles with each other, basically over control of the Sinai Peninsula & Suez Canal. This happened about a year after Reagan took office and the Americans hostage in Iran had been released. But we really need to go back a little further than Sadat and look at other areas in close proximity within the Middle East, not just Egypt.
The Shah of Iran, during WWII, nearly joined sides with Hitler, Mussolini & Hirohito, primarily because of popular Iranian resentment towards the Jewish people and Iranian support of the Holocaust. The Allies invaded Iran in 1941 to prevent Hitler from acquiring the oil reserves there. American & British support for Iran after 1941 was generally accepted & approved of by most Iranians, until the early 1950's. Afterwards, Iranian support turned to resentment, which developed into full-blown hatred of the U.S. and its allies for our support of Israel. After all, we were formed as a Christian nation and, in spite of what today's biased media would have us believe, we still are.
In comes the Ayatollah Khomeini into power in Iran and they are poisoned against Israel and, by association & for our support for Israel, the U.S., ever since his labeling of us as the "Great Satan." His lies and terrorist-motivating, hate-filled speeches and direction were what fired up the Iranian students who overran the American Embassy there. You know about the ensuing hostage situation that took place in Tehran over the next 444 days.
We all know about human rights' violations in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, pretty much anywhere there are areas controlled by governments that accept Sharia law as part of national/regional law. None of these countries have true democracies, although we're trying to support one now, in Iraq and elsewhere. We also see the huge resistance to this by growing numbers of brain-washed, Islamic extremists, a/k/a terrorists.
The Muslim Brotherhood is one of the largest, well-organized groups in support of the current revolt against the Mubarek regime in power in Egypt now. This group is nearly a hundred years old, with splinter groups, terroristic groups & individuals, that have spun off of it, most of which you may not have heard of before. However, unless you've been living under a rock for the last 10 years, I know you have heard of the terrorist groups, Al Qaeda & Hammas, as well as the individuals, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, Ayman Al-Zawahiri and Sheikh Hassan Yousef. These individuals & groups are not nice folks and they all have something in common: they were all members of the Muslim Brotherhood at one time.
So, since the government has cut off internet and other means of communications, as well as transportation and other vital systems in Egypt, guess who steps in as the primary disseminator of information to organize the uprisings and demonstrations against Mubarek? That's right, the Muslim Brotherhood.
No doubt, there are a large number of Muslims who would like to see a peaceful transition to a new form of government in Egypt. I'm also highly prone to believe there are a larger number of Muslims, in Egypt and elsewhere in close proximity, that would prefer to see a new government in place that hasn't had close ties to and support from the U.S. and our allies.
I'm not anti-Islamic. I'm anti-Islamic extremist. I find it difficult to tolerate or even sympathize with any group that demands the conversion of all non-believers or their destruction by any means available.
I don't want to see this opportunity abused by the next Khomeini or Ahmadinejad who might take power in Egypt. That would be catastrophic for peace between Egypt and Israel, as well as the U.S. and our allies. This instability is exactly what Egypt and this entire region does NOT need.
As for human rights and living conditions within Egypt, we need to support those ideals with which we agree and potential leaders who have a proven track record of supporting & promoting just such ideas. Overthrowing an entire government in this mostly Muslim region is an insanely complex and extremely dangerous prospect that has to be done carefully and has to be done right the first time. Right here in our own country, we've seen the damage that can so quickly be done by putting an idiot with his own, liberal agendas, and his liberal-backed administration, into the highest office in the land.
You may not agree, but that's how I see it. History lesson for today, free of charge

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!
Hunters
Add up all the hunters in just a handful of states, and come to a striking conclusion:
The state of Wisconsin has gone an entire deer hunting season without someone getting killed. That's great. There were over 600,000 hunters.
Allow me to restate that number. Over the last two months, the eighth largest army in the world - more men under arms than Iran; more than France and Germany combined - deployed to the woods of a single American state to help keep the deer menace at bay.
But that pales in comparison to the 750,000 who are in the woods of Pennsylvania this week. Michigan's 700,000 hunters have now returned home. Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and it's literally the case that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.
The point? America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower.
Add those figures to those who bear arms in the home for protection, and law enforcement..
"Hunting -- it's not just a way to fill the freezer. It's a matter of national security!"
I love my country......It's the Government I'm afraid of!
God Bless America!!

Predictions for the Future
There is nothing political about this post. It simply points out very probable changes that are in our future. It comes from an email I received.
Whether these changes are good or bad depends in part on how we adapt to them.
#1. The Post Office. Get ready to imagine a world without the post office. They are so deeply in financial trouble that there is probably no way to sustain it long term. Email, Fed Ex, and UPS have just about wiped out the minimum revenue needed to keep the post office alive. Most of your mail every day is junk mail and bills. (My add: Even though postage rates are increasing on an annual basis, we still ran a $7.5 Billion deficit this past year.)
#2. The Check. Britain is already laying the groundwork to do away with checks by 2018. It costs the financial system billions of dollars a year to process checks. Plastic cards and online transactions will lead to the eventual demise of the check. This plays right into the death of the post office. If you never paid your bills by mail and never received them by mail, the post office would absolutely go out of business.
#3. The Newspaper. The younger generation simply doesn't read the newspaper. They certainly don't subscribe to a daily delivered print edition. That may go the way of the milkman and the laundry man. As for reading the paper online, get ready to pay for it. The rise in mobile Internet devices and e-readers has caused all the newspaper and magazine publishers to form an alliance. They have met with Apple, Amazon, and the major cell phone companies to develop a model for paid subscription services.
#4. The Book. You say you will never give up the physical book that you hold in your hand and turn the literal pages. I said the same thing about downloading music from iTunes. I wanted my hard copy CD. But I quickly changed my mind when I discovered that I could get albums for half the price without ever leaving home to get the latest music. The same thing will happen with books. You can browse a bookstore online and even read a preview chapter before you buy. And the price is less than half that of a real book. And think of the convenience! Once you start flicking your fingers on the screen instead of the book, you find that you are lost in the story, can't wait to see what happens next, and you forget that you're holding a gadget instead of a book.
#5. The Land Line Telephone. Unless you have a large family and make a lot of local calls, you don't need it anymore. Most people keep it simply because they've always had it. But you are paying double charges for that extra service. All the cell phone companies will let you call customers using the same cell provider for no charge against your minutes.
#6. Music. This is one of the saddest parts of the change story. The music industry is dying a slow death. Not just because of illegal downloading. It's the lack of innovative new music being given a chance to get to the people who would like to hear it. Greed and corruption is the problem. The record labels and the radio conglomerates are simply self-destructing. Over 40% of the music purchased today is "catalog items," meaning traditional music that the public is familiar with. Older established artists. This is also true on the live concert circuit. To explore this fascinating and disturbing topic further, check out the book, "Appetite for Self-Destruction" by Steve Knopper, and the video documentary, "Before the Music Dies."
#7. Television. Revenues to the networks are down dramatically. Not just because of the economy. People are watching TV and movies streamed from their computers. And they're playing games and doing lots of other things that take up the time that used to be spent watching TV. Prime time shows have degenerated down to lower than the lowest common denominator. Cable rates are skyrocketing and commercials run about every 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I say good riddance to most of it. It's time for the cable companies to be put out of our misery. Let the people choose what they want to watch online and through Netflix.
#8. The "Things" That You Own. Many of the very possessions that we used to own are still in our lives, but we may not actually own them in the future. They may simply reside in "the cloud." Today your computer has a hard drive and you store your pictures, music, movies, and documents. Your software is on a CD or DVD, and you can always re-install it if need be. But all of that is changing. Apple, Microsoft, and Google are all finishing up their latest "cloud services." That means that when you turn on a computer, the Internet will be built into the operating system. So, Windows, Google, and the Mac OS will be tied straight into the Internet. If you click an icon, it will open something in the Internet cloud. If you save something, it will be saved to the cloud. And you may pay a monthly subscription fee to the cloud provider.
In this virtual world, you can access your music or your books, or your whatever from any laptop or handheld device. That's the good news. But, will you actually own any of this "stuff" or will it all be able to disappear at any moment in a big "Poof?" Will most of the things in our lives be disposable and whimsical? It makes you want to run to the closet and pull out that photo album, grab a book from the shelf, or open up a CD case and pull out the insert.
#9. Privacy. If there ever was a concept that we can look back on nostalgically, it would be privacy. That's gone. It's been gone for a long time anyway. There are cameras on the street, in most of the buildings, and even built into your computer and cell phone. But you can be sure that 24/7, "They" know who you are and where you are, right down to the GPS coordinates, and the Google Street View. If you buy something, your habit is put into a zillion profiles, and your ads will change to reflect those habits. And "They" will try to get you to buy something else. Again and again.
All we will have that can't be changed are Memories.
THIS COMMENT BELOW JUST ADDS FUEL TO MY FIRE THAT OUR SYSTEM IS BROKEN........................
19 Facts About The De-industrialization Of America . . .
The United States is rapidly becoming the very first "post-industrial" nation on the globe. All great economic empires eventually become fat and lazy and squander the great wealth that their forefathers have left them, but the pace at which America is accomplishing this is absolutely amazing. It was America that was at the forefront of the industrial revolution. It was America that showed the world how to mass produce everything from automobiles to televisions to airplanes. It was the great American manufacturing base that crushed Germany and Japan in World War II.
But now we are witnessing the deindustrialization of America . Tens of thousands of factories have left the United States in the past decade alone. Millions upon millions of manufacturing jobs have been lost in the same time period. The United States has become a nation that consumes everything in sight and yet produces increasingly little. Do you know what our biggest export is today? Waste paper. Yes, trash is the number one thing that we ship out to the rest of the world as we voraciously blow our money on whatever the rest of the world wants to sell to us. The United States has become bloated and spoiled and our economy is now just a shadow of what it once was. Once upon a time America could literally out produce the rest of the world combined. Today that is no longer true, but Americans sure do consume more than anyone else in the world. If the deindustrialization of America continues at this current pace, what possible kind of a future are we going to be leaving to our children?
Any great nation throughout history has been great at making things. So if the United States continues to allow its manufacturing base to erode at a staggering pace how in the world can the U.S. continue to consider itself to be a great nation? We have created the biggest debt bubble in the history of the world in an effort to maintain a very high standard of living, but the current state of affairs is not anywhere close to sustainable. Every single month America goes into more debt and every single month America gets poorer.
So what happens when the debt bubble pops?
The de-industrialization of the United States should be a top concern for every man, woman and child in the country. But sadly, most Americans do not have any idea what is going on around them.
For people like that, take this article and print it out and hand it to them. Perhaps what they will read below will shock them badly enough to awaken them from their slumber.
The following are 19 facts about the de-industrialization of America
that will blow your mind....
# 1– The United States has lost approximately 42,400 factories since 2001. About 75 percent of those factories employed over 500 people when they were still in operation.
# 2– Dell Inc., one of America ’s largest manufacturers of computers, has announced plans to dramatically expand its operations in China with an investment of over $100 billion over the next decade.
# 3– Dell has announced that it will be closing its last large U.S. manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem , North Carolina in November. Approximately 900 jobs will be lost.
# 4– In 2008, 1.2 billion cell phones were sold worldwide. So how many of them were manufactured inside the United States ? Zero.
# 5– According to a new study conducted by the Economic Policy Institute, if the U.S. trade deficit with China continues to increase at its current rate, the U.S. economy will lose over half a million jobs this year alone.
# 6– At of the end of July, the U.S. trade deficit with China had risen 18 percent compared to the same time period a year ago.
# 7– The United States has lost a total of about 5.5 million manufacturing jobs since October 2000.
# 8– According to Tax Notes, between 1999 and 2008 employment at the foreign affiliates of U.S. parent companies increased an astounding 30 percent to 10.1 million. During that exact same time period, U.S. employment at American multinational corporations declined 8 percent to 21.1 million.
# 9– In 1959, manufacturing represented 28 percent of U.S. economic output. In 2008, it represented 11.5 percent.
#10– Ford Motor Company recently announced the closure of a factory that produces the Ford Ranger in St. Paul , Minnesota . Approximately 750 good paying middle class jobs are going to be lost because making Ford Rangers in Minnesota does not fit in with Ford's new "global" manufacturing strategy.
#11– As of the end of 2009, less than 12 million Americans worked in manufacturing. The last time less than 12 million Americans were employed in manufacturing was in 1941.
#12– In the United States today, consumption accounts for 70 percent of GDP. Of this 70 percent, over half is spent on services.
#13– The United States has lost a whopping 32 percent of its manufacturing jobs since the year 2000.
#14– In 2001, the United States ranked fourth in the world in per capita broadband Internet use. Today it ranks 15th.
#15– Manufacturing employment in the U.S. computer industry is actually lower in 2010 than it was in 1975.
#16– Printed circuit boards are used in tens of thousands of different products. Asia now produces 84 percent of them worldwide.
#17– The United States spends approximately $3.90 on Chinese goods for every $1 that the Chinese spend on goods from the United States .
#18– One prominent economist is projecting that the Chinese economy will be three times larger than the U.S. economy by the year 2040.
#19– The U.S. Census Bureau says that 43.6 million Americans are now living in poverty and according to them that is the highest number of poor Americans in the 51 years that records have been kept.
So how many tens of thousands more factories do we need to lose before we do something about it?
How many millions more Americans are going to become unemployed before we all admit that we have a very, very serious problem on our hands?
How many more trillions of dollars are going to leave the country before we realize that we are losing wealth at a pace that is killing our economy?
How many once great manufacturing cities are going to become rotting war zones like Detroit before we understand that we are committing national economic suicide?
The de-industrialization of America is a national crisis. It needs to be treated like one.
If anyone can explain how a de-industrialized America has any kind of viable economic future, please do so.
It is time to wake up

License for Your House “SURPRISE FROM OBAMA”
Here is the latest "surprise" that Obama and his Democratic friends have up their sleeve to screw middle class Americans who own homes. This is part of the infamous "Cap and Trade Act" that is in Congress now and which Democrats hope to get passed and signed into law before the Nov. elections (before they get voted out of office). The people who proposed and wrote this Bill should be taken out and shot! This is worse than outrageous!
THIS HAS BEEN PASSED BY THE HOUSE........HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT "CHANGE" NOW???????????
Subject: H.R. 2454 -
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW...
License will be required for your house
Something every home owner should be made aware of!
Don't want to be bothered with "Political stuff?" You'd better read this one. It will come as a huge shock to you if you aren't informed as to what Obama is up to, and apparently it has already passed one hurdle. It will take very little now to put it into actual law!! YOU'D BETTER WAKE UP AMERICA !!!! So you think you live in a free country, boy have you got a surprise coming.
A License Required for your HOUSE?
If you own your home you really need to check this out. At the end of this email is the Google link to verify. If the country thinks the housing market is depressed now, wait until everyone sees this; no one will be buying homes in the future.
We encourage you to read the provisions of the Cap and Trade Bill that has passed the House of Representatives and being considered by the Senate. We are ready to join the next march on Washington ! This Congress and whoever on their staffs that write this junk are truly out to destroy the middle class of the U.S.A ....
A License will be required for your house...no longer just for cars and mobile homes....Thinking about selling your house. Take a look at H.R. 2454 (Cap and Trade bill). This is unbelievable! Only the beginning from this administration! Home owners take note & tell your friends and relatives who are home owners!
But wait. This awful bill (that no one in Congress has actually read) has many more surprises in it. Probably the worst one is this: A year from now you won't be able to sell your house. Yes, you read that right.
The caveat is (there always is a caveat) that if you have enough money to make required major upgrades to your home, then you can sell it. But, if not, then forget it. Even pre-fabricated homes ("mobile homes") are included. In effect, this bill prevents you from selling your home without the permission of the EPA administrator.
To get this permission, you will have to have the energy efficiency of your home measured. Then the government will tell you what your new energy efficiency requirement is and you will be forced to make modifications to your home under the retrofit provisions of this Act to comply with the new energy and water efficiency requirements.
Then you will have to get your home measured again and get a license (called a "label" in the Act) that must be posted on your property to show what your efficiency rating is; sort of like the Energy Star efficiency rating label on your refrigerator or air conditioner. If you don't get a high enough rating, you can't sell. And, the EPA administrator is authorized to raise the standards every year, even above the automatic energy efficiency increases built into the Act. The EPA administrator, appointed by the President, will run the Cap & Trade program (AKA the "American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009") and is authorized to make any future changes to the regulations and standards he/she alone determines to be in the government's best interest. Requirements are set low initially so the bill will pass Congress; then the Administrator can set much tougher new standards every year.
The Act itself contains annual required increases in energy efficiency for private and commercial residences and buildings. However, the EPA administrator can set higher standards at any time. Sect. 202 Building Retrofit Program mandates a national retrofit program to increase the energy efficiency of all existing homes across America .
Beginning 1 year after enactment of the Act, you won't be able to sell your home unless you retrofit it to comply with the energy and water efficiency standards of this Act. You had better sell soon, because the standards will be raised each year and will be really hard (I.e., ex$pen$ive) to meet in a few years. Oh, goody!
The Act allows the government to give you a grant of several thousand dollars to comply with the retrofit program requirements IF you meet certain energy efficiency levels. But, wait, the State can set additional requirements on who qualifies to receive the grants. You should expect requirements such as "can't have an income of more than $50K per year", "home selling price can't be more than $125K", or anything else to target the upper middle class (and that's YOU) and prevent them from qualifying for the grants.

The Czechs Have It Right!
the czech have this one right. how embarressing.
and…..that’s the truth…………………..
Prince of the fools
Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them.
This quote was translated into English from an article appearing in the Czech Republic as published in the Prager Zeitung of 28 April 2010.
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president."
"The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince."
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.
It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”
